This transducer has working depth elements, and a non-functional temp sensor and XID circuit.

Therefore, we are selling it kitted with cabling for Furuno as other brands like Garmin require a temp sensor to recognize a transducer connector.

Short story long, we use a wire wheel to clean these transducer so they can be reinstalled - the wire wheel caught the transducer wire and we believe, probably pulled the temp and XID ground (shared ground) which is why we're not getting either. we cut the cable back where the damage occured and respliced the cable very close to the cable entry to the transducer. We've done this several times and what works best is heat shrinking it with several layers and then hot gluing everything in place so there is no strain placed on the cable. We have done just that and now we have a transducer that is fully functional as a Depth-Only transducer, 1kw, for Furuno 10kw units.

As the unit was originally a mix and match unit, it has a 6' cable coming out of the transducer, plus a 30' mix and match cable to go to the display. The XID/temp and depth circuits operate completely independently - the failure of one has no correlation to the failure of the other. We feel confident that the depth circuit still has plenty of life as the test results are not only within range, but mirror very closely to the reference data, meaning the transducer's performance has very little deviation from the expected performance of the transducer when new.

Comes as shown with install kit. This is a 12 degree transducer for deadrises of 8-16 degrees. Installing in an area with a shallower or steeper deadrise will result in decreased performance.
