This Raymarine Digital Radome was bench-tested with an Axiom MFD and test cable (neither included) to ensure the unit is in great overall working order.

The scanner performs optimally, acquiring strong target returns at all ranges. The built-in self-test page displayed false failure indications; however, the radar has been tested and operates properly with normal performance.

Cosmetically, there are a couple of minor blemishes on the "Raymarine" decal lettering. Otherwise, the plastics are in great overall condition, showing only surface scratches on the lid and minor signs of normal use (see photos).

There is NO corrosion on the radar connection port, pins, or the mounting bracket inside the base housing!

This radome also comes with a NEW 5m radar cable, as most used cables have a common failure point found where the cable connects to the radar, in that the strain relief deteriorates, exposing the cable to moisture, which can then cause premature failure of the radar/cable or possibly an electrical short. If you need a different length radar cable, contact us. We may have a 10m or 15m available.

*With the provided cable, this radar is compatible with newer model displays such as an a/c/e/eS/gS or Axiom display. If you are trying to interface this radar with an E-Classic or a C/E-Wide Series display, you will need additional accessories to connect the two.*
