This transducer is only couple years old, manufactured 4/2022. The cable was cut shore so about 40' of cable was spliced on. Additionally, the outermost insulation was damaged about 1/2" from the stem entry - this did not affect the inner conductors. We would recommend heat shrink and/or self vulcanizing tape to keep the inside of the wires dry, otherwise, this shouldn't affect operation.

Please note: This is a dual line transducer – it won’t work on your Raymarine, Garmin, or Simrad unit, and might not work on smaller Furuno units. It works on DUAL LINE sounders only – Furuno DFF3, FCV-295, FCV-1150, etc. If using on a diplexed sounder, such as the Furuno 1871f, FCV-620, or any “10-pin” unit, you will need an MB-1000 or MB-1100 matching box.
