This is new and comes as shown. We believe it is made of steel - it is mildly magnetic so it is not 316 stainless or bronze. It is a flange style stuffing tube that comes as shown. The sealing washing has a nominal diameter of .40", and the washer and stuffing tube body have a maximum diameter of just over .6" Should work well for .5" transducer cables and cables a little thicker or a little thinner. We would not recommend using on anything too much smaller though, as the compression rubber washer can only compress so much.
