Tried and True – these are an excellent choice for protecting your transom and creating an attractive, functional entry of your transducer cable through the transom.

These are about 2″ in diameter overall, and require a 1/2″ hole. They support up to a 1/4″ transducer cable outer diameter. This particular model supports up to 2 transducer cables, we have others listed separately that support 1 cable only. Each includes 3 screws (either flat head or oval head, either 1″ or 1-1/4″) and the unit itself. Never installed, may show a scratch or mark from storage.

Install by drilling a 1″ hole and your screw holes (usually 5/32″ or 11/64″, be sure to run a countersink bit on the Gelcoat to prevent chipping), run your cable and connector through the hole until the cable is in the desired position, bed the 1″ hole and the pass-thru grommet with marine sealant, and drive each screw in, being sure to coat each screw in marine sealant before installing.

This is not designed for use below the waterline (shouldn’t have to say it).
