We do not remember where we picked this up, but it is a very neat concept. The Patrick radar mount is a self-leveling radar mount that uses a Lenco trim tab actuator to adjust the tilt angle of the radar mount. We do not know much about how it works, just that we hooked up 12v to it and it seems to function normally when we push the buttons on the controller, it responds by adjusting the level of the radar.
This mount is a low-profile mount that is built on a wooden box for trade-show demo purposes. You'll need to disassemble this and rewire it to suit your particular installation.; We have shown the dimensions of the mount, please reference these dimensions to be sure this will work for your installation. You will need approx 6" of "underneath" clearance for the housing that holds the Lenco actuator. Whether you choose to mount flush to a top and have this hang down or build a similar enclosure for your boat is up to you, but note that there is this additional space requirement under the mount.
