We have recently evaluated all of our i6000 components – all have been tested on a live test jig and are ready to install to replace your faulty units.

Our testing consisted of hooking up a full i6000 system on our bench and running through each component individually.

This ECU tested fine on single and twin setups but we were unable to get the unit to function in a triple setup – it is possible that we had a setting incorrect because we had 3 others that tested similarly, but we prefer to be transparent in saying that we were unable to get this control unit to work on triple engines. If running a twin or single-engine setup, this will work just fine.

As with any replacement ECU, you will need to calibrate it as per the procedure outlined in the manual. As with most of these, there are paint imperfections and light aluminum oxidation, but the units are very well sealed and the boards conformally coated, so this is purely cosmetic and not cause for concern.
