Additional Notes: This is the Gen 2 system first released in late 2021. It was tested here at MME and receives a clear signal. The previous user’s activation has been cleared by Starlink so it is ready for its next installation.
This system will work for a marine installation, but please note that requires a different service plan from the standard one, and we recommend using an addtional waterproof housing. We sell an adapter plate (SKU: 451003) that fits in a KVH HD7 radome.
One of the set screws that attached this antenna to the pole mount in its last installation became seized and had to be drilled out. This should not interfere with your ability to securly mount it in its next installation.
