This Simrad Halo 4 Open Array radar was brought in by someone who was refitting their boat and switching to another electronics system. We don’t think this radar was used very much as it only had 59 hours when it came in, and 65 hours on it now after testing it for several hours.
The radar is in good shape overall. There is some minor oxidation to the rotary joint – not enough to cause any level of concern and should not pose any problems going forward nor effect functionality of the radar.
This system was tested on a NSS evo2, radar picked up targets from 6 nautical miles out with ease.
This radar is fully compatible with Simrad EVO2 and EVO3 Displays.
