This listing is for a Simrad Halo20 radar in excellent working condition. The unit has been thoroughly tested using a Simrad NSS EVO2 and EVO3 display, confirming full operational functionality. During testing, the radar successfully detected and tracked targets at distances up to 7 nautical miles, showcasing its impressive range and clarity.
We have also updated the radar to the latest firmware version currently available from Simrad, ensuring optimal performance and compatibility with modern navigation systems.
Please Note: This unit is a Halo20 radar; however, when connected to an EVO2 display, it will appear in the system as a Halo18. When connected to an EVO3 display, it will be identified as an unknown radar. The exact reason for this discrepancy is unclear, but testing has confirmed that it does not affect the radar’s operation, functionality, or performance in any way.
This radar has been thoroughly inspected and tested, and it performs to its full intended capability, delivering the same range, target detection, and reliability expected from a Halo20. Cosmetically, it is in excellent condition with minimal signs of prior use.
