Additional Notes: The NRS-1 is the heart of the Simrad RS-100 and B&G V100 systems. This can be used with up to 4 HS100 handsets and/or 4 HS40 handsets. This also features connectivity for both NMEA 2000 and NMEA0183, an integrated GPS, and a hailer. All functions were successfully tested. Our instruments indicated that this unit has great transmitter power and receiver sensitivity.
If you need a complete system, we have complete V100 systems listed separately, this item is the black box transceiver only, with no handsets or speakers included. The picture of the handset in the listing photos is there only to demonstrate functionality.
Unlike Simrads preceding model the RS90, this unit does not come with an integrated AIS receiver.
The MMSI has already been set and must be cleared by a qualified technician before a new one can be entered.
