We put together a fully tested Sirmad AP2404 VRF autopilot system in great used condition.

This is what is known as a VRF or “Virtual Rudder Feedback” system. Rather than using a trouble-prone rudder reference sensor to assess rudder position, the autopilot uses a set of algorithms based on vessel characteristics recorded during the commissioning procedure and fine tuned during use to accurately estimate rudder position at any given time.

PLEASE NOTE: Customer will have to purchase hoses and/or other items for the pump to complete this system.

-AC42 Computer – Great Condition with installation manual and mounting hardware.

-FC40 Fluxgate Compass

-Simrad RPU160- Excellent condition

-Simnet Backbone to run this system: cable from backbone to AC42, cable from backbone to AP24, one terminator, and a Simnet power/terminator cable.
