This item has been thoroughly tested using a J300x (not included; used for testing purposes only) and has performed within the manufacturer’s specifications.
Refurbished by Max Marine Electronics at our facility, this unit has undergone the following enhancements:
-Reinforced faceplate and button pad to minimize water intrusion.
-The LCD came with vertical lines on the screen. We replaced the pads that the LCD sits on with brand new ones eliminating the lines.
-The main board has been inspected, and any damaged or questionable circuit components have been replaced.
The screen clarity is excellent but there are horizontal lines at the very top if the LCD due to the side pad being not serviceable. All information that this display is designed to show is still visible. (see photos)
If you have a non-functional AP20 or are looking to integrate one into your system, this is the perfect solution!
