the MMSI has already been set and must be professionally cleared before a new one can be entered.
The VHF and handset were tested revealing good transmit power and exceptional receiver sensitivity. NMEA 0183, external speaker and the units "replay" feature were also tested.
The Sailor RT5022 is a maritime VHF DSC Class A radio known for its "replay" function. It can record and playback the last 90 seconds of incoming communication.
