The VHF and handset were tested revealing good transmit power and exceptional receiver sensitivity. NMEA 0183, external speaker and the units “replay” feature were also tested.
The Sailor RT5022 is a maritime VHF DSC Class A radio known for its “replay” function. It can record and playback the last 90 seconds of incoming communication.
