This GPS antenna performs optimally as we have successfully tested the unit with an RL70C MFD (NOT included). The unit acquires a fixed location, and NMEA 0183 data transfer has been verified to be working properly.
*Designed to communicate via NMEA and should NOT be connected via SeaTalk.*
**PLEASE NOTE: The antenna cable was cut during the removal process. You will need to splice an existing power cable to connect to a compatible display.**
There is minor discoloration on the plastic housing due to sun exposure, however, it is in overall great cosmetic condition for a unit of this age!
***This unit seems to have been affected by GPS Rollover in 2019, causing an inaccuracy of the date and time info provided by the GPS antenna. See photos. This does not hinder the GPS functionality. This GPS unit tested great and maintained a fixed connection with satellites.***
