Manufacturer: Raytheon
Model Number: 2445D
Series: Transducer
Listed Item Condition: New/New Other
This is a new-old-stock Raytheon transducer, which may be up to 50 years old. It was stored in a New England basement so it really doesn't show its age - the rubber on the cables is a little filmy from age but insulation, both inner and outer, are not dry rotted at all. The connector was cut-off - you will need to splice a different connector.
These are not much different than the transducers of today - we would venture to say that the materials and workmanship was better than it is today and with a plug change, these can be used on a multitude of 200Khz depth instruments (like Raymarine ST60) or on 200Khz sounders.
Most standalone depth instruments (i.e. Raymarine ST60, Datamarine, etc) output 150-300 watts, but if using on an echosounder, you will need to be sure that the sounder outputs 300 watts or less (many older Furuno, Raytheon, and JRC Sounders were 300 watts).
If you have any questions regarding compatability, feel free to send us a message.
