Description
This is a SPX-5 Tiller Plus Pilot Corepack for wheel driven sailboats under 13,200 lbs. This is a new pilot corepack with 2 year warranty.
The SPX-5 is unique in that it will interface with either Seatalk 1 Controllers (ST6000+, 6001, 6002, 7000+, 7001, 7002, 8001, 8002) or Seatalk NG Controllers (ST70, P70, P70r).
THIS KIT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE AUTOPILOT DISPLAY UNIT. WE HAVE THOSE KITS LISTED SEPARATELY.
This kit contains the following parts:
-SPX-5 Course Computer
-Raymarine Tiller Drive Unit w/Mounting Hardware
-Seatalk 1 Cable to connect to Seatalk 1 Controllers listed above.
-Fluxgate Compass
-All manuals
To connect to Seatalk NG controllers, a Seatalk NG backbone will need to be set up.
The pilot ships free in the US.
Please note: This is only for tiller driven small and medium sailing vessels under 13,200 lbs. displacement. Will not work for powerboats or larger vessels of heavier displacement.
