Additional Notes: A NEW Modulator Board directly from Raymarine was installed in this Non-HD Digital Radome! It was then bench-tested with an MFD and cable (NEITHER INCLUDED) to ensure the unit was in great overall working order!
The Scanner performs optimally, acquiring strong target returns at all ranges with every self-test passing!
Cosmetically, the plastics are in outstanding shape with little to no signs of wear!
The mounting lid tabs are all intact with the inserts, and the case seal is seaworthy!
There is NO corrosion on the radar connection port, pins, or the mounting bracket inside the base housing!
This radar system also comes with a brand NEW 5m radar cable, as most used cables have a common failure point found where the cable connects to the radar in that the strain relief deteriorates, exposing the cable to moisture which can then cause premature failure of the radar/cable or possibly an electrical short. If you need a different length radar cable, we may have a 10m or 15m available. Please reach out to us directly to inquire about a different-length radar cable.
*With the provided cable, this radar is compatible with newer model displays such as an a/c/e/eS/gS or Axiom display. If you are trying to interface this radar with an E-Classic or a C/E-Wide Series display, you will need additional accessories to connect the two.*
All hardware included has been cleaned and is adhesive-free for quick and easy installation.
