Additional Notes: A NEW modulator board, directly from Raymarine, was installed in this non-HD Digital Radome. Then bench-tested with an MFD and test cable (neither included) to ensure the unit is in great overall working order.
The Scanner performs optimally, acquiring strong target returns at all ranges and every self-test pass!
**Note: This is Raymarine’s 1st Generation of “Non-HD” Digital Radomes.**
Cosmetically, the plastics are in outstanding shape with little to no signs of wear!
The mounting lid tabs are all intact with the inserts, and the case seal is seaworthy!
There is NO corrosion on the radar connection port, pins, or the mounting bracket inside the base housing!
This radar system also comes with a NEW 10m radar cable, as most used cables have a common failure point found where the cable connects to the radar, in that the strain relief deteriorates, exposing the cable to moisture, which can then cause premature failure of the radar/cable or possibly an electrical short. If you need a different length radar cable, contact us. We may have a 5m or 15m available.
*With the provided cable, this radar is compatible with newer model displays such as an a/c/e/eS/gS or Axiom display. If you are trying to interface this radar with an E-Classic or a C/E-Wide Series display, you will need additional accessories to connect the two.*
All hardware included has been cleaned and is adhesive-free for quick and easy installation.
