The unit and its attached fist mic were fully tested showing great Tx, and Rx.
All other features were tested as well.
The MMSI has already been set and must be professionally cleared before a new one can be entered.

The Raymarine Ray49E is a compact, fixed-mount VHF radio featuring Class D DSC for emergency distress calls and GPS position broadcasting, a built-in NOAA weather alert function, a clear monochrome dot matrix LCD display, and an intuitive rotary channel knob and microphone controls. It also includes programmable scan and Tri-Watch modes for monitoring channels, is fully submersible (IPX7 rated), and offers an NMEA 0183 interface for integration with other marine electronics.
