We are selling a new compatible replacement microphone cable assembly for the Ray260. This replaces the R70271, which is virtually non-existent if you are lucky enough to find one, chances are the degradation of the synthetic rubber has already started as this part has been out of production for several years.

This cable is used on the Raytheon/Raymarine Ray260 VHF radio.  This cable will not work with any other model of VHF Microphone.  If you are looking for the Ray240 or Ray215 Mic cables, we have those available as well.

We have designed this replacement to provide a way for those with the Ray260 to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:

1. Cable entry strain relief to the microphone - We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment
2. Connection to radio - Our connector is a "straight" connector, whereas the original was a right-angle connector

We have designed the assembly to be user-replaceable using included instructions that will accompany each replacement cable assembly. Each cable is individually tested to ensure proper function. This part will not fix a broken radio, it will replace a damaged microphone cord - if your radio has an issue beyond the degradation of the insulation on the microphone cord, we do not feel this will solve the problem.
