Raymarine Ray215 VHF Replacement Microphone w/ New Rebuilt Cable – TESTED

This unit came to us with a completely shredded mic cable (the curly cable)

This unit is in decent cosmetic condition with minor scratches and has a new replacement cable that we installed in-house here at Max Marine to ensure that it is done right. All the buttons are functional and the speaker is working.

We have replaced the original mic cord on this unit with one of our replacement cables produced in-house here at Max Marine.

The reason why we replaced the cable: Chances are that you have seen the very common degradation of the synthetic rubber cable that comes from the factory on these handsets. Well, we have come up with a solution for that issue, and here is what we have done,

We have designed this replacement cable to provide a way for those with the Rat215 to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:

• Cable entry strain relief to the microphone – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment

This mic has been completely tested with a Ray215 and it is 100% functional.

If you need just a Mic Cable to repair your mic, we have them listed on eBay, or you can send us a message!
