We have updated the display to run the latest v4.11 software. All buttons are fully functional.
Our testing is rigorous, we port test these units and should anything come up post-sale, we have the ability to deal with it – See diagnostics screens, and function screens for proof of functionality – every picture you see is of THIS unit, we don’t believe in stock pictures.
We tested this unit with chart cards in both card reader slots, transducer port, GPS antenna via the SeaTalk port. HSB2 was tested by connecting a DSM250 to produce sonar functions on the display. All ports are intact with no damaged or corroded pins.
This unit falls into a small batch of units that were produced by Raymarine with an incorrectly programmed component on the CPU board. This component generates the drive signals for the 200Khz transmitter. This in turn makes the unit, while on 200Khz frequency, act as though it cannot obtain an accurate depth or bottom image. This issue does not affect the 50Khz frequency. For this reason, we are including a DSM250 Sonar module to take the place of the internal sonar functions of the display. The DSM250 has been put through the same rigorous testing and was found to be fully functional. We have included the necessary cables to connect the DSM250 to the L1250RC+.
We have updated the DSM250 to run the latest v2.24 software.

Please note: Corners on the sun cover are cracked but it still fits the unit snug and protects your LCD while the unit is not in use.

A note about these displays: Raytheon/Raymarine created a number of different models with three basic functions: radar, sonar and chart plotter. Some models perform one of these functions and some perform two of these functions. Because there were a number of combinations made, the nomenclature can be confusing.
This particular display has sonar and chart plotter functionality only. Photos showing sonar features are displaying the functionality of the HSB port with a DSM250 connected.
This is an HSB2 unit. It will not network with HSB1 units but can replace a standalone HSB1 unit if there are no other displays on board the vessel. If you have any questions regarding compatibility, please contact us.
