Additional Notes: This transom-mounted speed/temp sensor comes with a y-cable that allows you to have separate speed/temp input into your compatible DSM/CP module. This can be great for in-hull transducers where speed/temp is not possible, or for other installations where the transducer’s internal speed and/or temp sensors have failed but the depth functionality is still working. The included y-cable will effectively split off speed and temp from the transducer that is currently connected to the sounder module so that you are only using that transducer for depth and using this transom-mounted paddlewheel/temp sensor for speed and temp.
