Additional Notes: This Northstar M121 is in good working order. Plastics are in excellent condition, no cracks in the bezel, rear chassis, or front panel. All testable functions, such as GPS port, internal sounder, card reader, etc have been fully tested and are fully operational.
Included with this is the unit itself and suncover, no other cables or accessories are included as we intend this to be a replacement for a non-functioning display.
This is a Northstar M121, identical in form and function to a Navman 8120, and almost the same as the Simrad NX45 with the exception of the front bezel design (cutout is the same)
As is the case with all of these displays, there is some separation of the optical bond which looks like an air bubble around the outer edge of the screen. This has no effect on functionality or longevity but is mentioned in the spirit of full disclosure – most, if not all of these units experience this cosmetic issue. When the optical bond separates, the bonding solution can permeate the backlight diffuser. This, again, is cosmetic but as you can see, on the bottom of the screen, there are some areas that appear brighter than others because of this.
The unit has a 90 day warranty.
