The Northstar 951X is widely regarded as a go-to GPS/Chartplotter, known for its ease of use, dependable performance, and proven reliability.

Important Notice – GPS Rollover Issue:
In 2019, a GPS “rollover” event affected many Northstar 951X units. As a result, this unit is unable to correctly display Tide Charts and the Date/Time. This particular unit is affected by that issue.

All other functionality remains fully operational. You will still be able to:
Save and manage waypoints
Display and use chart data
Acquire and maintain a GPS fix
Navigate normally

Please note: This unit has a horizontal line visible near the bottom of the LCD. This is a cosmetic issue only and does not interfere with the unit’s performance or the visibility/readability of the display. In all other respects, the unit remains in good overall condition

Many users choose to supplement tide information with one of the many free mobile phone apps available today. Pricing for affected units has been adjusted accordingly to reflect the loss of tide and date/time display.

It is a WAAS-enabled unit and uses the AN150 or AN156 antenna for GPS/WAAS operation.

The unit has been updated to the latest software version (v3.46) and is ready for installation.
