We recently acquired the inventory of a large marine parts distributor that went out of business. This is a new old stock item and is in excellent condition. The unit is still in the factory’s original boxes and has only minor blemishes on the packaging. The item comes as shown in the photos. The box shown is a Sierra box with the correct part number however the unit inside is a Mallory unit.

We were able to determine that this is a Sierra 18-5496-1 Electronic Ignition Distributor based on the parts numbers located on the factory packaging. This unit fits Ford 351 (Cleveland Only), 429, and 460 V-8’S and is interchangeable with Mallory YLM567C. In any case, please see the photos for more and please verify compatibility before purchasing. This item is guaranteed non-DOA, however, because it is a new old stock item, it does not carry any manufacturer’s warranty. Sierra Part 18-5496-1.
