Additional Notes: Neptun T.Hjem Boat Nautical Compass NSK 1973 - Tested - Working This item came from a vessel that was being refitted with all-new electronics. This Neptun T.Hjem Boat Nautical Compass was tested on our bench, We used a CD100 adapter to a CD35 interface and then to an AC20 autopilot computer to test this unit. We found that it communicated with the CD100 adapter perfectly and accurately as compared to a modern NMEA or rate compass. The CD100, Ac20, CD5 interface and AP26 are not included in this sale and were only used for testing purposes. Please note: This is a vintage item and shows its age in some ways. It is functional and did not leak during testing, but there is some discoloration. As well as some surface scratches on the painted housing and the plastic housing. The compass has decent clarity for its age. There is an air bubble in it, despite this, it still works. Proper mineral water can be added to fix this. Some small bits in the water and some contamination in the gasket area (see photos). The outer shell also has no cover. This listing includes the following:
