Additional Notes: This Max Marine WiFi-1 Go Free Replacement module was assembled and tested here at MME. We configured this module so customers have a solution to the hard to find obsolete Go Free WiFi module that Navico no longer supports.
This unit was tested with a NSS 8 sport (GEN 1) , NSS 12 EVO 2 & 3 to prove functionality through the Navico lineage of displays.
This unit simply connects to the back of your MFD via the 6′ yellow network plug and is powered by 12VDC (please install 2 Amp fused that is provided).
Once you have downloaded the Navico Link App you can connect your iPad to your MFD and control your MFD from your iPad.
