Lowrance LVR-880 Marine VHF Radio Transceiver Unit + Rebuilt Microphone Cable
This unit was removed from a vessel being refit with new electronics.
This unit is in good condition.
The unit has been tested for Rx / Tx, and Wx using an IFR-1200s Communications Service Monitor. The IFR-1200s is the industry standard for testing Marine and Aviation VHF radios.
All buttons and knobs function as they should.
This unit does not have an MMSI and is ready to be programmed with your own.
This is a used unit and may show signs of wear, please refer to photos.
We have replaced the original mic cord on this unit with one of our replacement cables produced in house here at Max Marine.
The reason why we replaced the cable : Chances are that you have seen the very common degradation of the synthetic rubber cable that comes from the factory on these hand sets. Well, we have come up with a solution for that issue and here is what we have done,
We have designed this replacement cable to provide a way for user to continue using their radios (Lowrance LVR-880). The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:
- Cable entry strain relief to microphone – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment
- Cable length – Our cable is slightly longer and more substantial then the OEM cable in hopes to mitigate the degradation of the cord.
