This is a Lowrance HDS7 Gen2 Touch Multifunction Display. The unit has undergone a comprehensive functionality and performance evaluation to ensure all features operate to manufacturer specifications. During testing, all primary interfaces were inspected and verified, including the chart card slot, NMEA2000 network connectivity, Ethernet/network port, power input, sonar, and StructureScan ports. Each function was individually tested under load conditions to confirm stable and consistent operation.
Chart card slot successfully recognized, read, and displayed data from multiple compatible Navionics and Lowrance chart cards without errors.
NMEA2000 interface was verified by connecting to an active network with multiple devices, confirming proper communication and data sharing across the system.
Ethernet/network port maintained stable and reliable data transmission, ensuring smooth integration with other compatible Lowrance modules.
The sonar and StructureScan ports delivered accurate signal output and return, producing clear, detailed readings across the supported frequency ranges.
Both the touchscreen and keypad controls responded quickly and smoothly, demonstrating excellent sensitivity and reliability.

Please Note: The chart card door does not sit completely flush with the housing and opens with slight resistance. Despite this, the door locks securely in place and operates as intended for chart card insertion and removal. This is considered a cosmetic defect only and does not compromise the integrity or water resistance of the chart compartment. (Picture is provided)
