This unit features the high-performance Gen2 internal processor, which provides significantly faster map redraws and smoother operation than the first-generation HDS units. It comes pre-loaded with Lake Insight mapping for detailed inland lake contours. Note on Appearance: We changed the bezel and chart card door on this unit. Because these parts are from a Gen1 unit, there is a slight color difference between the front bezel and the rear housing. Despite the cosmetic difference on the faceplate, the internal motherboard and software are 100% Gen2, giving you full access to Gen2-only features like StructureMap. Key Features: Gen2 Processor: Much faster performance and more responsive menus. Lake Insight Mapping: High-definition detail for thousands of U.S. lakes. SolarMAX PLUS Display: 5-inch sunlight-viewable color screen. StructureMap Support: Overlay side-scan sonar images directly on your charts (requires LSS module).
