This is a used System. It has been successfully tested here at MME to the extent that we could without an Inmarsat subscription.
The terminal software has been updated to the current Version (1.27). The network connections and POTS system test good on the below decks unit.
The deteriorating cord on the handset was replaced with a new one, giving it a new lease on life.
The antenna is packaged in a blank white dome that is in good condition, with minor wear and yellowing of the plastic.
The terminal SIM is not active therefore the system will not register onto the Inmarsat network, however, the system tracks the Satcom Direct satellite and has good signal strength.
**The purchaser must purchase a new SIM and register the terminal with an Inmarsat airtime provider.**
