Additional Notes: This is a tested and working front assembly for an Icom M504 VHF Radio. This section contains the microcontroller which stores the MMSI, the LCD, and the channel and volume knobs. It was taken from a unit that was failing due to unrelated reasons. We are selling this item with the idea that a skilled technician could use it to repair a radio of the same model. If your radio is displaying poor transmitter power or receiver sensitivity, this will probably not fix your issue. The MMSI has not yet been set. Problems this might fix include: -Distorted or sunburnt LCD -Scratchy volume knob -Firmware issues -Incorrectly set MMSI -Bad mic or mic cable This unit was fully tested but is being sold without returns and is only recommended for someone who has experience fixing these radios.
