Garmin//TR-1//Gladiator Autopilot Compass Ball-TESTED-GOOD

We acquired this unit from a boat being refit with new electronics.

This would be a great replacement for your bad compass ball on your TR-1 autopilot system.

We tested this unit using a TR-1 bench test rig and a furuno vx2 to monitor NMEA output.

This listing will include the compass ball only.

Unit is in decent shape.

The orange end connector was cracked and falling apart, so we removed all of the orange plastic and used an in house 3-d printed connector instead (pictured) . The material used is much stronger than what Garmin used, and will outlast oem materials. 

**NOTE**: Max Marine Electronics is proud to offer Garmin/Nautimatic TR-1 Autopilot systems. We had an issue with customers returning items because they mistakenly purchased the wrong component for the wrong system, the part didn’t solve their problem, or one of several other reasons.  In an effort to mitigate this and ensure that our customers purchase equipment they are able to use, we are offering these with no returns. We will continue to warranty this equipment for 90 days as we do all other tested working equipment, but we will no longer accept returns for any reason.  It is not our intention to be unfair or unreasonable, but returns are very costly for us – we must retest every item that comes back to maintain our strict quality control. In order to continue to offer products at the high level of quality our customers expect, we had no choice but to make this change.
