Garmin / Nautimatic-TR-1 Gladiator Autopilot System – No motor-Tested

This system was removed from a vessel being refit with all new electronics.

This is a TR-1 Gladiator Autopilot System .

This system does not come with a motor

It has been tested in house on our autopilot bench test set that simulates real installation conditions

There are some things to note: The orange connector on the compass ball has begun to degrade. This is a very common issue with these Garmin systems. The components still work, but the user and installer should take special care when installing to prevent any further degradation.  (pictured). The power button has a 3-d printed connector as it was completely degraded. 

This system is used and does show signs of wear and tear from normal use.

This system was assembled with installation simplicity in mind. If you have a TR-1 system has multiple bad components or you want to replace what is broken with your system and keep spares for other components, this system is for you!

**NOTE**: Max Marine Electronics is proud to offer Garmin/Nautimatic TR-1 Autopilot systems. We used to sell these as individual components but had an issue with customers returning items because they mistakenly purchased the wrong component for the wrong system, the part didn’t solve their problem, or one of several other reasons.  In an effort to mitigate this and ensure that our customers purchase equipment they are able to use, we are offering these as complete systems with no returns. We will continue to warranty this equipment for 90 days as we do all other tested working equipment, but we will no longer accept returns for any reason. With a complete system, you should be able to fix your existing system, piece together a new-to-you system, or keep spare parts on hand.  It is not our intention to be unfair or unreasonable, but returns are very costly for us – we must retest every item that comes back to maintain our strict quality control. In order to continue to offer products at the high level of quality our customers expect, we had no choice but to make this change.
