Additional Notes: This is a new set of knobs. We took photos of the knobs without the factory plastic covering that comes on them, the knobs you receive will have this protective plastic. These come with bracket kits for many Garmin units, mostly 9-12″ units that are either more recent or current production. Please note – there are 3 thread-length variants of this knob – .55″ thread, .8″ thread, and 1″ thread. THESE ARE THE MIDDLE .8″ VERSION.
The .55″ are used on Garmin VHF’s, the .8″ are used on most GPSmap products using the larger knob, and the 1″ are used specifically on some Echomap products with quick release brackets. These .8″ CAN be used in place of the 1″, however, they cannot be used on Garmin VHF’s.
Most of Garmin’s 7″ and under displays use a smaller diameter knob, this will NOT work on those displays.
