This is a tested touchscreen control board for GPSmap 8015 and 8215 only. Will not work on other screen sizes or models, even though part numbers may be the same - the configuration file loaded onto the board is different. We have found that units exhibiting a "no touch" issue can be for 3 reasons. The LCD/digitizer assembly is bad, this board is bad, or the backlight board (105-01931-10) is bad. We do sell the backlight board, but do not have any LCD/digitizers. We can almost guarantee that this will NOT fix an issue where touch is dead in some spots but not others, that is almost always the LCD/digitizer.

Max Marine Electronics offers these fully tested boards in an effort to provide the boating community with discontinued parts and to keep these items from ending up in the scrap pile. While these parts do carry a 90 day warranty, they are non-returnable - we cannot afford to be a free provider of tested parts for people to "try." If a warranty claim is made, shipping back to us will be the responsibility of the buyer, and if a part comes back to us and tests good, we will assess a $150 diagnostic fee and require the buyer to pay return shipping. This covers our costs in setting up a test bed and testing the part, which takes well over an hour.
