During their production, Garmin made this unit with two different styles of connectors for the Power, NMEA0183, and Video connectors: 1) They made Full-Threaded connectors in which the cables had to be threaded onto the connection points. 2) They made a Half-Twist variety which, in order to keep the connector seated, would need a half-turn in the proper direction.*
