This is a Garmin GPSmap 176 that does have a degraded LCD screen as you can see. We did a power on test and we could faintly see the splash screen briefly but it then shuts off. Battery compartment has minor oxidation but nothing that should inhibit its functionality, see pictures. Sold as is, as described, no returns.
