Garmin ~ GHS10 ~ Wired VHF Hand Mic for Garmin VHF Radios 

This listing is for a used Garmin GHS 10 Hand Mic with a Rebuilt Cable. There are some minor scratches from light use, Overall it is in very nice condition. This unit still has the screen protector on it.

This is perfect for anyone who needs a replacement GHS10 for their Garmin VHF 200/300.

This unit has been tested using a VHF200, checking for voice modulation and button functionality, as well as screen clarity. This mic functions beautifully..

We have replaced the original mic cord on this unit with one of our replacement cables produced in house here at Max Marine.

The reason why we replaced the cable : Chances are that you have seen the very common degradation of the synthetic rubber cable that comes from the factory on these hand sets. Well, we have come up with a solution for that issue and here is what we have done,

We have designed this replacement cable to provide a way for those with the VHF GHS 10s or VHF 200/300s to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:

1. Cable entry strain relief to microphone – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment
2. Connection to radio – Our connector is a “straight” connector, whereas the original was a right angle connector
3. Cable length – Although it is odd looking, It does function normal. It has an 10″ coiled section and 7″ straight cable section. The reason we did this is to compromise with form and function.  The overlength of the cable is long enough to serve its purpose along with the coiled section to give it some cushion.
