This listing is for a Garmin AIS600 Class B AIS Transponder that has been fully tested and confirmed operational.
During testing, we found that the NMEA 0183 is not functional; however, the unit works flawlessly over NMEA 2000, so if your system runs on NMEA 2000, you will have no issues.
Functionality was verified using a Garmin 5208 (NMEA 2000), a PC via USB/NMEA 0183, and a Standard Horizon VHF radio with splitter.
This AIS has a clean MMSI and we can program it for you upon request.
