When we acquired this radar, it showed signs of paint flake and oxidation. The pedestal was completely disassembled and repainted and then assembled back together.
Please note: Due to the quality of metal used by Garmin in the manufacturing process there may be some minor blemishes and surface imperfections to the radar gearbox underneath the paint. This is out of our control. The paint and finish used on this radar are better than the factory paint.
We fully tested this unit and updated it to the latest software version.
During testing this radar picked up targets 8-32Nm out with no issues.
