Additional Notes: This item was originally designed to be a temperature supplement for in-hull transducers but can also be used to fix the dreaded “transducer disconnected” message that results from a faulty temp sensor. It features a y-cable that effectively substitutes or adds a transom mounted temp sensor to your existing transducer setup – of course, if you are just using this to get your existing transducer working again, you don’t need to mount the temp sensor, you can coil it up and instead of reading water temp, it will be reading air temp.
