We acquired this unit from a customer who was upgrading to a TZtouch3. The unit is in immaculate working order, has been fully tested in house, and found to be 100% operational. Our testing is done using several peripherals (GPS antenna, radar, sounder, etc) which are not included in this listing. We also verified the functionality of the internal GPS and sounder. The pictures you see here were all taken with this unit, they are not stock photos.
The unit is clean and has been fully bench tested. As you can see, it shows well.
The software was not updated on this unit because we do not know if you are connecting this to an existing TZtouch system which will not be compatible with the first gen TZtouch and other units.
This is directly from Furuno: “IMPORTANT NOTICE: TZtouch2 Software Version 7 (v7) or Version 8 (v8) will break direct network compatibility with TZtouch (TZT9/14/BB), SMD12/16, and Nobeltec TZT v3 and older. This version offers new network compatibility with TZT3 and Nobeltec v4. Those with mixed networks need to consider this upgrade carefully. v7/8 removes Active Captain support from older systems while adding TZT3 “like” UI and many new enhancements.”
