This Furuno RDP-139 was removed from a boat that was refit with new electronics. The unit has been fully tested in house and found to be 100% operational. Our testing is done using several peripherals (GPS antenna, radar, sounder, etc) which are not included in this listing. The pictures taken are of the actual unit, they are not stock photos.

This is a CMAP unit intended to work with CMAP wide Cards. WILL NOT WORK WITH Navionics CARTOGRAPHY.

We have updated the software to the latest version for optimal performance and was fully tested on our bench.

The unit was flush mounted so a bracket will NOT be included in this sale.

This unit would make an excellent replacement for a downed display.

This includes:

RDP-139 – 10.4″ – There are paint chips on the front, some scratches on the glass and oxidation on the rear on the display. LCD has some imperfections on the right edge. See pictures.

**NOTE**: Max Marine Electronics has sold hundreds of Navnet displays and systems. Our experience has given us the ability to evaluate and rebuild this displays in such a way as to prevent the common (and rare) failures these units experience. The most common failures of the Navnet series are: LCD Screen Failure, Backlight Failure, Trackball Failure, and Separation of the Front Glass.

An MME refurbished unit will have a rebuilt LCD screen with new films that should outlast the unit. The backlight circuit board has also been rebuilt with beefed up components as a preventative measure. The trackball assemblies are inspected, re-shimmed if necessary, and lubricated – in some cases, these assemblies are replaced and, in that case, we will advertise the units as having new trackball assemblies installed. The clear front lens that covers the LCD, which may be acrylic or glass, is bonded to the bezel with adhesive tape or adhesive sealant. If this bond fails, any water that hits the front of the unit will run down the glass into the unit and the unit will fail in short order. We inspect this bond and if we don’t feel the bond is fit for re-installation, we will either re-bond the lens.

In addition to these things, on all Navnets regardless of whether they’re rebuilt or not, we inspect bezels for warping, inspect and re-grease case seals, service trackballs, and perform other basic procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and longevity of our units in the field.

An MME refurbished Navnet display will always come with a completely rebuilt LCD screen and backlight inverter.
