This Furuno 1834cbb Navnet VX2 radar system is in great used condition. The unit uses C-Map NT MAX SD Cards, none are included but we can order virtually any region for around $175. We have upgraded it to the latest C-Map software version for optimal performance. The radar picks up targets very well, both near and far.
The VX2 black box shares the same user interface as the normal VX2 units but allows for a larger screen to be used.
This includes:
- RPU-015 – 1834CBB processor and power cable.
- RSB-0071-057 4KW 24″ Dome with 4 mounting bolts
- Interconnect cable for radar – 48′ long.
- Furuno MU-155C – 15″ Marine monitor with VGA cable and power cable.
- RCU-017 – controller, cable to interface with VX2, and flush mount bracket
- Furuno GP-320B GPS Antenna- 20 feet of cable
The MU-155C that comes with the system is BLACK not dark grey or grey. The previous owner sprayed the monitor black and left some green zinc chromate paint, which is still visible on the top of the monitor (pictured).
As you can see, the system is fully functional – picks up targets well. The inside of the dome looks great. All sealing grommets are included. Display was flush mounted so no brackets are included.
We installed the latest software onto the unit for the best possible performance.
The system is expandable – add a chart card for detailed cartography, an ETR-6/10 sounder module and transducer for sounder functionality or a heading sensor for radar overlay.
