This Furuno 1953C VX1 12kW Radar System has been thoroughly bench-tested and verified to be in excellent working condition, ensuring outstanding performance and long-term reliability.
The included Furuno NAVnet RDP-139 display has undergone a complete professional refurbishment to meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. During the process, the front bezel was carefully inspected for proper fit and sealing, and the viewing window was securely reattached to maintain a watertight finish. The backlight PCB was upgraded with enhanced components for improved durability, while the trackball and housing were meticulously cleaned and serviced for smooth, precise control. The display was also updated with the latest software version to deliver optimal performance and compatibility.
This display is currently formatted for Navionics chart cards and will not work with C-MAP cards by default. However, if you prefer C-MAP compatibility, we can convert the software at no additional cost—just let us know at the time of purchase.
The system has been extensively tested on our bench and operates perfectly as a stand-alone radar. To take full advantage of its advanced capabilities—such as GPS position and sounder functions—you’ll need a GPS antenna (GP-320B) and a sounder module (ETR-6/10N) with a compatible transducer. These components are not included, but can be purchased separately from us or other marine electronics suppliers.
Cosmetically, there are minor signs of prior use on the display and radar pedestal, including light scuffs and surface marks. These are purely aesthetic and have no effect on the performance or reliability of the system.
Please note that mounting brackets for the display and radar are not included.
