This system is in great working condition and was fully tested on our bench. This system is great for finding birds. 

This Furuno 1964cbb Navnet Vx2 radar system is in great used condition. This is one of the best radar systems available to find birds. It is a 25kw, 96 mile, 6 foot open array radar system. Not including the monitor or radar array, this system sold for over $7,000 new. The unit uses C-Map NT MAX SD Cards, none are included but we can order virtually any region for around $175. We have upgraded it to the latest C-Map software version for optimal performance. The radar picks up targets very well, both near and far.

This is a Cmap unit intended to work with Cmap NT Max SD Cards. WILL NOT WORK FOR NAVIONICS CARTOGRAPHY.

The VX2 black box shares the same user interface as the normal VX2 units but allows for a larger screen to be used and has a composite video in Port for camera, etc.

• RPU-015 – 1964CBB Processor and power cable (16ft with 15A fuse)
• PSU-008  Radar Power Supply with 17ft interconnect cable and 3ft power cable (NOTE: The power supply is missing the metal bracket used to hold down cables. See pictures)
• RSB-0072-061 25 KW Radar – Good condition.  Has paint flakes on the bottom base.
• 6′ Radar Antenna – good condition, has some scratches
• MU-155c – Furuno 15″ Monitor (Light Grey Version) – Good condition – Has some paint chips on the front bezel. Comes with  VGA cable (16ft) and power cable (16ft with 15A fuse)
• RCU-017 – controller and cable (9ft).
• Radar cable – 50ft

As you can see, the system is fully functional – picks up targets well. The inside of the array looks great. All sealing grommets, etc. for the open array antenna are included. Display was flush mounted, no mounting bracket included.

The system is expandable – add an ETR-6/10 sounder module and transducer for sounder functionality or a heading sensor for radar overlay. Add SD card for detailed cartography, we have some used cards listed separately.

No Chart Card, Heading Sensor, GPS Antenna nor Sounder module included.
