We have paired a Furuno 12KW UHD radar with a Furuno NavNet 3D 12″ (MFD12) display for a standalone radar system or add-on.

This would be a great add-on radar system for someone who has an existing MFD12 and is looking to upgrade.

We are able to customize this system to your liking; we can add another MFD12, GP-330, PG-700, DFF1, DFF3, HUB-101, and FA-50 etc… There will be additional fees for the add-ons, please contact us at the time of sale if you want to upgrade.

We updated the DRS12a and the MFD12 to the latest software revision 1.18 and 2.13 respectively

The radar and MFD12 have been fully tested on our bench and found to be fully functional.

PLEASE NOTE: This radar has the ability to unlock the ARPA function with the use of your MFD12, you just need to connect a GPS antenna and a heading sensor to your existing NMEA2000 network. Please refer to the MFD manual for further information on how to properly use ARPA.

We have updated the pre-loaded charts on the MFD12 but you will need ANY NMEA2000 GPS antenna or GP-320b for chart plotting. We have some available.

  • MFD12 – comes with suncover (cracked in a few locations), RJ-45 to RJ-45 waterproof, NMEA0183, and power cables.

  • 4 Foot Array – good used condition, minor scuffs and scratches
  • PSU-012 – comes with power cable. NO JUMPER, MFD12’s have the ability to power sync.
  • Interconnect Cable – 10M
PLEASE NOTE: Due to a confluence of supply chain issues and rising costs, we are supplying this radar with a suitable replacement that is made right here in-house. Our replacement uses quality Ancor, Cobra, and Delfingen components that we feel is as good if not better than the factory. The only differences from factory cable are as follows:
  • Instead of being a “siamese” cable with no protection, ours is two individual wires in a durable cable wrap
  • Our cable uses red (+) and yellow (-), instead of white (+) and black (-)
  • Our cable uses one size heavier gauge power wire – we feel it is better to be oversized than undersized on power.
  • Our cable uses an electronically shielded data wire, and an unshielded power wire, whereas the Furuno cable uses a shielded power and shielded data wire.
